Peter Fox

Senior Software Engineer, open-source maintainer, and long-time member of the Laravel community. The person behind Laravel Badge and Feature Flags for Laravel.

Hello, I'm Peter

Section 01 · The person

I'm a Senior Software Engineer based in the UK, with over a decade of PHP experience and several years specialising in Laravel. I currently work at Amiqus, building identity verification software, and spend my spare time writing and maintaining open-source Laravel packages.

I created and maintain Feature Flags for Laravel, an open-source package with hundreds of thousands of downloads. I'm also a maintainer on Rector Laravel, helping write the automated upgrade rules that move Laravel codebases forward.

Outside of code I write articles, speak at community events, and enjoy helping other package authors make their work easier to discover, trust, and maintain.
